discovery via epub backmatter

Book designers have barely scratched the surface of what's possible with the de facto availability of javascript in epub rendering platforms, most of which are webkit/html5 based.

I want to gather a group interested in creating a convention for ebook back matter that will enable discover, especially discover that's hard to do from outside the epub package.

@suw has actually done a user survey:

coming out of my post:
http://go-to-hellman.blogspot.com/2013/02/anachronisms-and-dysfunctions-of-ebook.html

What expertise is needed for implementation?
- people familiar with epub3/html5
- javascripters
- people familiar with target apis- social, related item, bibliographic
- UX/design people

and of course thoughtful answers to the question: "once you're done reading an ebook, what do you really want to see next?"
